Did you ever ask yourself, where your destination is going to be when you die (Paradise or Hellfire, Happy or Sad)? We are all going to die one day; maybe tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month or maybe next year? Death is like a door and we are all going to enter it. What do you have for yourself? Did you ever looked yourself in a dark room and thought about the Day of Judgment? It is very difficult to even imagine.

On the other hand, if thought yourself in paradise, believe me you want your destiny to be there. The Prophet (pbuh) said, Allah said, “I have not prepared for my righteous servants what eyes have never seen, ears have never heard, nor has it ever occurred to a person’s heart or come to his or intention.

Since all what we do in this world will follow us in the grave and will come with us in the day of resurrection. Ponder these questions for your personal reflection.  Are you doing good deeds or bad deeds? Are you praying the salat like our beloved Prophet (pbuh) used to? Are you obedience to your parents?  Are you nice to your neighbors?  Are you nice to animals? Are you truthful? Do you read Quran? If you read Quran, in the Day of Judgment, the Quran will argue for you. Do you forgive others when you go to sleep? If you want happiness, both here and after, ask yourself these questions and even more and come up with actions. Remember that we are in this world only to prepare ourselves for the next world. The success of this world is very short but the hereafter is forever.

Life after death is really true.  Allah stated in the Quran many times, “After that, surely, you willdie” (23:15). On the Day of Resurrection, we will surely be accountable for we do in this life.  God made both live and death. Thus, if there was not life after death, this world would be meaningless. Our beliefs in hereafter make our world here peaceful. The Prophet (pbuh) was sent to us to tell us to worship ONE God and to believe life after death. Therefore, everyone should be mindful the life after death since it is our purpose of life in here and after.
