I found out that the men and women who got to the top of this world are those who worked hard and did their jobs. Confidence is the key to success, and if you have confidence you will reach out, stand up and do your part. Winners never quit, in order, to be a winner and successful you have to do these three steps. By sharing your knowledge and talent to others, you might bring the best idea to the society. When you meet different people than you and learn, you will respect each other more and you will not be fearful. You think they are just so different from you in a bad way, but that is not the case, we are all different and unique in our own way and underneath we are all human being. Each day presents an opportunity to do our best. Make each day successful by reaching out, standing up and doing your part. Effort improves abilities. Without daily progress, reaching your dreams is more difficult.

Why Reach Out, Stand Up and Do your part is Important?

“Do not be greedy who only interested only on his or her own self, but be interested in the lives of others.” There is hadith says that love for your brother/sister for what you love for yourself.  No matter where you are in life always reach out and do your part as it supposes to be you will succeed. Some people are born to be leaders. These people are able to influence and inspire others easily. There also some people who aren’t born as leaders but they learn leadership skills and reach out. First of all you have to have goals for whatever you are doing. And you have to have aims and means behind so reaching out and doing your part will contribute to reaching your goals. For example if you learn one hadith today, you suppose to convey to someone else so they can benefit from it. “Do not wait for others to take the initiative, take the risk of reaching out; it is a key and means of caring about yourself and others as well….” Sometimes you do not know what you are missing until you reach out and do your part very well. Always do your part very well. Our imams, teachers and scholars in ICSA taught us, good individual creates good family, good families create good community, and good communities make good excellent society. So number one, help yourself out by worshipping Allah, getting good education and by serving your community. Get involved as much as you can in the society. Number two; help your family out with whatever they need. Remember family comes first as long as they telling something good and in accordance with Islam. Number three contribute to your community and society.  That is what doing your part means. So let’s make a history by reaching out, standing up, and doing our parts by coming and participating on Friday November 26, 2010 on Interactive Academic Contest at Masjid Dar Al-Hijrah.
