How can we make a better society? First we need to build three basic things that will help us to make a better society. These are individual, family and community. If one wants to make change in this world, first, one must build (educate) him or herself. If one is not a product of his change, then he or she cannot change anything.  Thus, one must ethically and civically build himself, his house and his surroundings in order for him or her to go to change society for the better. When one who has knowledge, he or she can make this world a better place for everyone else. Every human being was created to make a difference in this world so starting one’s self is the first element, ingredient, and principle in creating change. Believing in ourselves that one day, we will do something extraordinary. One must be an active individual who can do something. That means that first one needs to educate him or herself my going to school Islamic education and academia.  In reality, knowledge will not come to us but we must come to it and seek for it. If one wants to be a successful, one must be willing to stay up long hours at night and like many say be hungry for hours as well. Once one acquired knowledge and learned his or religion in a deep sense, one can make a better change both for himself and others as well.

What is not far either is one’s family, meaning that as a good individual one will get another good individual so then only then these two individuals will make a good family. The kind of family one will have will be educated, religious, tolerance where values, principles, love and compassionate will be the lifestyle. They will communicate very well, participate in their community, and enrich others. By talking with their kids, they teach their kids good manners and characters of both religion and academics, and they become good role models for their kids. Therefore, making few families like this one will make a good community, for we know that good community is made up by combination of few good families. Finally with many communities like this one we will have better societies. When we build our individual level, family level, and community level a better society will emerge. Without building these three basic factors one cannot jump to make this society a better, one or one which will accept change.

Over all, I personal believe that in order for us to make this society better we have to build our basic foundations, a building cannot stand by itself and that just like a society. These three things have a connection in that individual is the bottom, family is the second level, and community is the third level, which enables the final,  stage which is a better society which  in reality is a better world. Some people rush in creating change or thinking that they are making things better, but in truth, they are making it worse because they as individuals are not capable for making changing. We cannot change anything without changing ourselves; we cannot change anything without changing our families, and  we cannot change anything without changing our homes, only than can we create a better community and a better world.
